Would definitely come back for staycation. The hotel is appealing and fairly clean, has sweeping views of the mountains. The rooms are functional and modern, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Courteous personnel is on check-out.

The location here is super convenient, situated really close to downtown restaurants. 🍳 The continental breakfast they serve is top-notch, I’d totally recommend it. They've got a great selection of pastries, wine, and bagels to start your day off right.

The location was pretty handy, not too far from Motif. The restaurant here was really nice for dinner; we both got delicious dishes.

It is a nicely decorated and beautifully kept property located in Downtown Palm Springs district really close to nearby restaurants and `` uptown '' and shops. Especially helpful and responsive staff, they know their business. The room is a nice size and well-kept with a comfortable bed and pillows. The services are excellent, including a clean pool. The venue has comfortable and handy location in neigborhood.

It's an intimate, small hotel in a great location. Service is terrific, especially the concierge/manager/front desk.

First off I love the staff! They are so friendly, and immediately made me feel like I was part of the Movie Colony Family. I love the simple decor of the room and the private patio. The hotel is pretty much like a home away from home. The pool is open 24 hrs which is a plus for me. And if you need anything from their bar area they allow you to help yourself to anything. They have a complimentary happy hour and a continental breakfast. The whole weekend I felt I was among friends, I am definitely going back! I love the soul of this place! If you love comfort, great service, and are delighted by the simplicity of life this is definitely the place!

The rooms are fashionable and functional with a terrace. The stylish modern interior is a pleasant touch. The location is excellent and wonderful, especially being next to a popular Mexican restaurant. The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, morning coffee spots, and art galleries.

This hotel was a good home base for exploring Palm Springs. The bathroom was large and included a shower, a hairdryer, and soft bathrobes.

The stay was really great. I needed a place to stay as I renovate a condo in Palm Springs, and this was perfect. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and even upgraded my room. I would stay there again

Booked a room with magnificent views over the mountain and pool. We had a microwave oven, coffee & tea making machines and a fridge in the room.

The location was unbeatable and magnificent, close enough to restaurants and downtown Palm Springs, and all the good restaurants. In general the staff were helpful and caring. I was offered a free continental breakfast.

Our stay at Movie Colony was exceptional. The rooms had a funky retro style and were immaculate. The pool was a nice addition and we enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks in the room. The staff, especially Chris and Joseph, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We loved the intimate atmosphere and meeting other guests. I highly recommend this hotel for a smaller, more intimate stay.
